So.....

It seems we've all completed the Kryta quests and opened several missions (possibly out of order) on the map. How about this Thursday we shoot for the completion of "Villany of Galrath" as a group, then if there is time we can try and knock out at least the mission portion of Divinity Coast. Seems the bonus portion may be integrated with the mission somewhat, so we can see about knocking that out as well.

Everyone cool for Thursday at 9:00pm EST?

Yeah, I'll be there tomorrow.

Starting at Temple of the Ages, I think Villiany of Galrath will be fairly simple for us. Assuming we fill the party with henchmen, that is, and I see no reason to not do so. We're really after the 4000xp carrot more than anything else, right?

And the Divinity Coast mission looks pretty straightforward, so I think we've got a decent chance of knocking that out as well - which should bump everybody into 19 (except for Gravenstone, who's already there).

Near as I can tell, I've opened every location in Kryta (north and south) except Kessex Peak (which we'll be hitting tomorrow night), as well as all the Manguuman Jungle locales. Now about 7k from 20th.

OK, time for someone to purchase Oblivion so they can get distracted for a bit and let the rest of us catch up.

Actually, I have Oblivion. It just hasn't gotten me hooked quite yet...

Really not looking forward to re-running the mission for the bonus - not because I think it'll be especially difficult, but because the eye was highly annoying with the flashing lightning and all.

I was still in my smiting spec, so was disappointed by facing the gargoyles and plants (fire works very well against both) - I'll rectify that for the rerun.

That eye was annoying, though I liked that it occasionally seemed to porc a knockdown on some of the mobs.

I think I will study the walkthrough carefully for the bonus. Something tells me we need to move fast and know our targets to get enough of the scattered merchants/chosen under our protection.

It looks highly likely that completing the new faction quests and other new territory quests will push us all over into 20th level. Seems odd, we're only halfway through the plot and we're maxed out on levels. I suppose we still have lots of skills to get though, and better weapons and armor. I'm looking forward to finding the first Gold sword I can actually use, as well as perhaps a Green one later on. Fiery Dragon Swords seem to be popular.

Yeah, we're wearing 1k armor and using purple gear for the most part. There's 15k armor, and of course gold and green gear. Plus there are lots of skills still to unlock.

I've read that the developers consider the low level cap an important balance component.

Yeah, they actually reiterated their intent to hold the cap at 20 in the Factions info I read.

The wiki spoiler reports that the merchants aren't the Chosen at all. Seem more like a delaying tactic
