Barring a last minute change in plans, I won't be partaking of this weeks GW session. I have a friend coming to visit that evening so won't be online at all.

OK, no problem. If Erudite is still good to play this Thursday then he and I can attempt to tackle the bonus we missed last time and maybe some side quests out of the new locations in the jungle. Since you seem to have more available play time than we do anyway, it should not be difficult for you to make up a single bonus mission with henchies.
I'm good for Thursday, but if nobody else is I can always play Oblivion.

I'm good for Thursday, and actually was thinking along the same lines as Raveneye anyway - try our hand at the bonus and see about running some jungle side quests.
Total aside - I hate those maguuma spiders. Stupid poison DoT. And it probably wouldn't be so bad if a half-dozen of them didn't drop out of the trees at the same time. :lowrazz:

What really sucks is when you trigger a group of them at the same time as you trigger a group of those crazy walking shark looking things.

Yeah. Funny how the newbish little skales you slaughter en masse at level one grow up to be such a PITA later. :lowrazz:

Decent night last night. We completed the bonus for the Divinity Coast mission (still hate that annoying eye!) and a couple of quests Raveneye had in Maguuma Jungle, opening up Quarrel Falls for him. When he gets though Ettin's Back to the centaur's place (the name escapes me at the moment), he'll be where I'm at now.
I played with a geomancer lineup last night, sticking Kinetic Armor (+56 armor for 30 seconds, refreshes for 8 seconds every time I cast a spell) and Stone Daggers (two stone shards that each cause 28 damage if they hit) on my skill bar. Stacked with Aura of Restoration, it enabled me to get beat on by two of three mobs with little trouble, but really crimped my damage output compared to a pyromancer set. I did leave Fireball in, but mostly because I like seeing three or four triple-digit damage numbers when the mobs are all clustered together. :lowrazz:
Maguuma spiders still suck. For level 12ish mobs, wind riders kinda suck. And jungle skales suck. I'd actually rather see ettins than any of those.
