Plot Mission #1 - The Great Northern Wall
Meet at The Great Northern Wall, American District #1, 9pm EST.
I'm inclined to let Onnie lead the mission as she hasn't been through it before, only stepping in if (when?) she bypasses the bonus. It's rather simple, but easy to miss in the first mission.
Like all Ascalon missions, maximum party size is four. Raveneye and I originally did it as a duo, though, so less is not a problem.

I should be good for this tonight, barring any more email server issues at work. If for some reason I haven't shown up by 9:15pm, go without me.

Lemme guess, you guys aren't going to tell me the bouns mission. Does it involve the Prince dying and we all live? If so, I'm crawling all over that map with a fine tooth comb when we hook up.

Nah, the prince doesn't die. Tonight.
On the plus side, though, the prince isn't a part of the mission. He may be in the cut scene at the end - I don't remember.

Count me out. Unexpected Familial Obligations (UFOs?) are going to take up the majority of my evening. I likely won't be home until 9:30-10:00.
On a side note: Erudite, don't forget to record LOST tonight, it's new. I already called my wife to remind her to tape it for me...

I'll double-check, but I'm pretty sure it's another recappish episode tonight - clips and whatnot. Not a straight rerun per se, but nothing new.

Woohoo! Done with plot mission #1 for Onnie. Had a bit of a glitch, in that it took us a while to find the fourth piece of armor for the bonus, but otherwise it went pretty smoothly.
Afterwards, we ventured into Old Ascalon to interact with the avatars of our Gods (America finally got favor back from Europe). As far as the storyline goes, when the Charr have taken the wall in mission 1 but not yet been pushed back in mission 2, the gargoyles and elementals and whatnot in OA are replaced with Charr. I never knew that happened before, always having done the two missions in rapid succession.

It was, I didn't even watch tthe tape when I got home after my wife told me it was a recap filler episode. I wish they'd stop doing that.
Glad the mission went well. I'll have to do it with Cade when I have some time and catch him up to you both. Should be easy enough with henchies.

Yeah, me too. OT for this forum, but...the rumor is circulating that the season finale will be a Desmond-centric episode. Soooo looking forward to that!

That would rock. Getting to see how he crashed, who he met, and how he came to be in the bunker, in addition to where he's been since, would be the perfect way to end the season.

You know, I have absloutely no idea what this show is you two are talking about. I haven't watched TV in prolly 12 years.
This does not count for major events. i.e. a Good hockey game or some such. Then I run next door cause I know my neighbors (Bill is a highschool) will have on Football, whatever, and I can watch.
We did finish mission #1 and I thought it was funny. You should ask Erudite some of the things I was yelling at the end. I almost told the bird to haul butt but had to turn getting back to the wall. Wish they hadn't had the timer clock on. Wonder what level those Charrs were. If they were 6er's even a couple of 8er's they'd of been toast I tell ya's!
We did find a bug with the Gods. Mine wouldn't talk to me or Erudite. Was starting to feel left out when he logged his other crit and then Lyssa spoke up. Turns out it was the Henchman in party that was the problem. However, think it just might be that one place because the other gods would talk to us. Or it might even be Lyssa and a personality quirk. I only know of that one spot so kinda hard to test.

Just so you don't get to feeling too immortal there (in an in game sense) - the first encounter is unwinnable. I made the mistake with an alt of turning to take on the four level 6 Charr facing me on the sprint back. Finished them off without too much pain, but found my path blocked by 12 level 8 Charr, with loads more red dots closing in from the right. :evileye: With collision pathing and all that thecno jazz, you couldn't even run through them to try and complete the mission in time.
Now, I just let my minions act as cannon fodder, and run like the Hounds of Hell are on my very heels.
