So tonight we could do one of two things:
#1) The Riverside Province mission and bonus.
This mission is pretty straightforward, steal the sceptre from the White Mantle without killing too many of them. The BONUS is the opposite, requiring you to kill tons of WM.
#2) Help catch Onnie up to the three of us by advancing her through the remaining missions she has to catch up.
I'm good with either. #2 might be better if Onnie is available since it gives us yet another real live person (Onnie's real right? ) playing in the group.
I can be available at 9:00pm EST.

Gravenstone has indicated he's willing to help advance Xellany tonight as well, so maybe we should plan on that. It'll give us a chance to snag some skill captures we might want from those missions. Also, we're sitting just two missions shy of the Ascension mission arc in Crystal Desert and I've heard those are very difficult to do with henchmen. The more PCs we have at that point, the better.

I have not even started the missions yet.. 8(
But i have found that as a healer i can spec Energy Storage and Healing Prayers ... I have a TON of mana, and I heal myself almost better than i heal the party... and i never casted a single target heal on my self.

I've done the first three with just my character (N/R) and henchmen. The first one in particular is very easy (although the bonus may stump you for a bit).

Well, that was interesting!
After a slow start, or should I say restarts, we seem to have pretty much nailed it in one pass. Too bad we lost Onnie 3/4 of the way through. Doing ALL the towers in advance not only got us the bonus, but made the "Escape" part of the main quest a cakewalk.
I don't know about you guys, but I had several instances of flakey pathing and lag last night that I think may have been serverside. Things would be fine for two or three fights, then suddenly in a fight I would freeze up completely for a couple of seconds or suddenly find myself running off to a corner someplace (not chasing someone, but as if I'd clicked to go there somehow). Usually I could recover quickly, but in the thick of the Temple section it cost me at least one death maybe two. In a weird way it almost felt like being charmed by a mob in EQ, without the try to kill your pals part...
Still, lots of fun, long but rewarding mission. Looking forward to cranking out Sanctum Cay next week so we can move on to the Crystal Desert and Ascension.

I had one moment where I locked up hard for a good 30-45 seconds. Just as I was bringing up the task manager to check things out, I snapped back into motion and control of my toon.
Definitely an odd evening, even by our standards.

I did have severe lag in a few spots, and it cost me my first death on the run that eventually was successful. My guy just stood there getting beat on, not responsing to any keyboard/mouse commands - until just before he died, when he rubberbanded around the map for a second or two before croaking where he'd been standing.
Wierd pathing issues around the temple, too. Had one of the White Mantle Justicars hung up around the stair railing, so I just casually nuked him to ashes.
Kind of a frustrating night for me. It seems like most of the White Mantle guys were using Ward Against Elements, and the only damage skills I had loaded were fire. I'll have to look ahead to see what we're facing and maybe go back to more of a smiting build. I also kept missing target calls. Scrolling back up, I could see in the chat window where the target had been called, but I had no assist button.

Yes last night was a bear. The weird thing was on Xell's death, she was laying on the ground spinning around. I know I asked you guys if it looked like that to go but, am sure you were busy regrouping. Also, when she rez'd she was in the wall it seemed like and slid out through it. Very weird.
Glad you guys made it through okay. And it was sever side you guys think? At least it wasn't me then. :)
Edit to add: I am not looking forward to having to do that mission again. That last bit I was thinking, "Ummm why didn't someone say 'Bring Army'." Also, I think by the time I try that mission again I'll know who the heck Sarah is and still be wondering why I care that she's hiding in plain sight.
