Played with Kiir and Atty last night. Did one of the missions that start you on the path to the Prince's DEATH SCENE! Can't miss those missions, really a must for any player of Guild Wars. Atty was in fine acting form, despite the cold. I did worry his necro was going to hurt something lifting those barrels.

I swear, back in the old days necros didn't look near so bad. Maybe a tad on the dark twisted side with a few self inflicted wounds here or there but nothing like today’s "New" necros. Either that or I've become accustomed to watching Raveneye and Seoman power lift stuff. From the heaviest of powder kegs with the greatest of ease so our bodies to blast apart into tiny witty itty bits that fly way far off, to simple tasks like a bushel of apples that even Miss Muffet could handle. Those two can just [i]PRANCE[i] their way through it all.

Atty got the bouns, no helpful thanks to me blowing up the wrong spot. But at least the BOOM was nice. Bixie hasn't been to that mission though I think she did "clear" the way before. I am totally lost on which missions she has or doesn't, let alone where she is on the skills stuff. I really need to seriously play her a bit.

Hubby's "off" today so I am going to try to log in after some "hubby" time when I get home. Prolly the regular time Erudite. Was thinking maybe we could run Anoe (if she's up for it) out to Thristy should she not have it yet. Actually the mission itself isn't that hard. (IMO) If you segway it right. Got the first three before by myself with just hencies. Anoe, if we go remember to check the captures. I think there's another two in the desert for Monks. That one we ran past and I forget the other place.... If you want, we can have a capture/walk night.

I'm up for whatever if I actually get to HAVE puter time tonight. ;) This weekend though I want to clean up Xellany's skipped mission and bounses act. (grins) Am also up for fishing Anoe's ascending and talking a walk.... on the CITADEL SIDE. Might as well guys, there's about (counts...) well for me there was 8 or 9 captures on the way. However, I already had a couple of caps from Folly's which doubled up in Snake.

So for the weekend those ascend who wanna go from Drankor's to there, I've got the sign made up for you already "CITADEL OR BUST".. it's only slightly used but workable.

I'm up for Thirsty tonight, this weekend though Atty and I are out of town, we are bringing the windows laptop with us, but that only lets one of us online for Guildwars, plus it is a wedding weekend which means we're going to be spending lots of time with family. Tonight though getting to Thirsty and possibly running the quest would be nice :).

There are three captures in the desert for monks. The three Ascension missions all have one skill for each class (the same in all three missions), the Glint mission has one for each class, and monks have a named scarab in Prophet's Path that has one.

She, by the way, is tricky. I've killed her three times (once with Seoman and henchies, twice with Destrid and henchies). Once you get her alone, though, she's fairly easy. Her elite makes her a long fight - pwards of five minutes. You really do have to keep beating on her until she runs out of energy. Probably easier with players, since the elite causes physical damage to heal her instead and the henchies aren't so cooperative in not attacking things. She also drops a nice green monk staff, although it seems the henchies have always gobbled it up on me since I've never gotten it.

Thirsty River is fine by me. I need the monk skill there for Destrid still, but I imagine I'll pick it up later. With Raveneye out of town, Seoman the hammer-wielding supertank will be pressed into duty. :lowrazz:

Played around for a bit, upgrading Destrid to the 1500 hydromancer armor for the run through the Southern Shiverpeaks. I looked at upgrading Seoman, but his stuff is so mismatched (Ascalon boots for the damage absorption, Stonefist gauntlets for the extra knockdown time, Dwarven Helm for the +1 Hammer Mastery) that I couldn't decide what to do. Besides, the platemail takes steel ingots, of which I seem to be mostly lacking.

I was going to put down the 10 plat for a banker in the guild hall, but upgrading 5 pieces of armor for 7.5 plat took a chunk out of my reserves. In a few days, maybe.

Nobody else was hanging out, so I logged.
