Well, all in all... interesting night. Started off seeing if I could handle just four hencies along with Xell. (Herself and pet not included in group count.)

I was surprised. Moved through the Foot with no problems and killed the lower bosses. Something I noticed though about the bosses. When they dropped for Xell they actually dropped something. By that I mean before they would just toss down maybe some coin and/or a green item if you got that lucky.

Now they didn't drop a green but when they dropped it was always double items with coin. Such as two pieces of armor with coin, or two summit badages.

The night started off a stinker on drops like that and it continued to theme throughout the evening as it wore on. Nothing very lucky, nothing to write home about certainly. Just a few drops and some gold stuff outta a chest. The most exciting thing was I had new spells up on Xellany that I wanted to try out. I am sort of changing tactics on her. Have never really had a chance to kick back and jack with the enemy because I'm either soloing with hencies or going for a mission.

So I figured (why I dunno when running only four hencies with this was a good time but I did) time is ripe to try a new build. Need to talk to Erudite how he was liking her playing last night because it revolves around a different style. First of all, she doesn't have her damage sheild buffer. That being choas storm up. Nice spell, but really only great when used like that or if you have something trapped/surrounded. Her big ones were Diverson and Guilt.

Diverson for the sticks, Guilt for the Casters. Dang I had no idea just how powerful guilt can be. No pun intended, though I was making jokes with Atty and Kiir about how I casted guilt on a stone summit and the results were vicious. As soon as he gets to the part about telling how wonderful his wife is, I am going to cast Shatter Illusion on him. But really, stopped casters dead in their tracks. I was always hoping like crazy through all our targets.

Unless I had to Troll myself, I'd hit every target on Seamon at least once with something. Either the - to health Phantom, Guilt, Diverson, and the one that escapes me which you take damage everytime you attack.. I forget it's name. Anyways, I think almost every target he got to had at least half health. Two hits from him it was d-e-d dead.

I can see with pesky buggers like the Fierce Birdies that Diverson would be a real kicker for shutting down their area fire damage. The only thing I wish I had for the build was a direct interupt up. Guilt really isn't an inturput like that. But it's dang good prodding NOT to cast any spell. Need to look at something that would be a good add for that and either drop Troll (because we have Anoe along) or drop rez. That's if I still have George with. If I drop him I can get two very nasty direct intrupts in or one and a nasty zero out your engery bar in a whomp in.

Not sure how Erudite feels about the summit healer duo to Snake dance but I think that was the fastest I've ever seen those two drop. Anyways Erudite, tell me what you think cause I wasn't running Xell with an area last night. I can also keep her on just two, instead of fast target switching and hitting the whole group. With all the damage output, it just seemed almost a waste to stick on the tarets with you, heh.

Edit: for clarit-i-tea

We were mowing through some pretty big groups of mobs out in Snake Dance last night, with very little problem. Those tundra giants are pansies, though - hurling those big ol' rocks at poor Seoman for 4 or 5 points of damage. Sheesh. Xellany can throw harder than that!

The dual Priest of Sorrow in Grenth, leading to Snake Dance, did go down pretty quickly last night. Your new build, coupled with Seoman and Devonna's dualing hammers 'o doom, means...well, doom for those poor things. Woulda been even quicker, too, but the first one managed to sneak Mark of Protection off at about half-life and I had to switch targets.

No exciting drops - even the gold chest gave me a craptastic healing ankh (+12 energy, +5 armor, req. 13 healing prayers). I did cap Earth Shaker in Snake Dance, though - the elite hammer mastery skill. A nice AE knockdown, but requires a lot of adrenaline. Still two skills to cap out there for Seoman - the smiting elite and a warrior stance.

I did notice that you weren't using your AE. There were a few times where I thought it could have been useful, but really we handled everything pretty well once we got into the swing of things.

Funny how Seoman and Xellany just kind of fall into working well together, but Xellany and Destrid are always confused over which roles to take on. :lowrazz:
