Xellany and Seoman tried a 5-person group in Sorrow's Furnace last night, using hammer-chick and the two healers. It didn't go quite as well as we'd hoped, and we racked up some healthy death penalties clearing to the waterfall area. The health degeneration caused by two or more Summit Dark Binders is a bit much to overcome when damage from the rest of the mobs isn't being spread around and the binders aren't going to as fast. We may have had a little more luck if we'd gone left from the front room instead of right. There are a few bosses that are a little easier to get to in that direction.
Xell had to leave after a while, so I took Seoman back out to Snake Dance and capped Signet of Judgement, his elite Smiting Prayer. That leaves just one elite from that area, a warrior one, for Seoman. I'll have to check Destrid - I think he's got some work to do out there still.
Finally, I took a five-person group and walked around Grenth's Footprint for a bit, finishing the mapping procedure and finding the zone-out to Spearhead Peak (along with a few more potential boss locations). Bosses were stingy again, and the zone-in on the other side of Spearhead Peak proved fatal as there were several ice imps waiting in ambush. Ah well.
Gotta get a couple or three more people out to the Southern Shiverpeaks to play with us. ;) Ascending Zyll should take most of Thursday, especially if we have to walk out to Dunes of Despair.

Is that a hint for me to walk Graven out tonight? Okay I'll walk graven out tonight if he can log. How far along is Atty? Any mission in need of help with?
I know, I haven't even farmed out the Green for everyone in the guild yet and I'm already itching. It's the adventure thingy in me. Wanna lookie at the Obsidian armor I tell ya's ;)
Yeah the Water fall area is just rough in general. Even with full group. I did do with just Hencie Hammer chick Aidan and two healers the Boss near the "slappers" the boss after Whitman the double bosses down under past what's his name that trades for Slave rocks or stones. But those ones aren't the "huge swarm" that you have (landsaping working against you) that the Waterwall part is. I think that might be to do the big bad area behind it. And back in there you DO need a full group.
The bastages have rez signets on them. Plus healers that rez. You'll find yourself wiping out double healers only to have half of what you killed on their feet again AND the healers back up. Good idea to call em quick if you only want to have to fight once.
Personally I just resigned myself to having to deal with groups twice as the sigs of course ran out. Spirit Callers will sig rez. If we get into serious hunting back there I'll equip Xell with her Sig blocker. At least, I think I have that one... almost sure I do. Or maybe that one is a cap in my next mission for her. Have to check that, if nothing else. Anyways, they'll pull double groups of 5 that overlap roam wander together back in there. Very nasty, want full group and maybe another pet that's a white tiger or something. ;)

atty is currently on aurora's glade mission. Gonna try it again tonight, but skipping the bonus, see if i can make it. Don't think I can, though, as the run back/forth is just far enough to be a PITA

Okay, follow along... :lowrazz:
Finishing the mission in Dragon's Lair (the last Crystal Desert mission, and the purpose of Ascension) puts you into Droknar's Forge in the Southern Shiverpeaks, where the main plot picks up again. From there, the first explorable area is Talas Chute, which leads to Ice Caves of Sorrow, the next mission locale. I haven't done that mission yet, waiting for the rest of the group.
Also accessible from Talas Chute is Camp Raknor, another outpost. The other side of that is Snake Dance. Snake Dance is a large explorable mountain area, with lots of twisty paths and bosses and elite skills. About halfway up Snake Dance is the zone to Grenth's Footprint. Many more bosses, a few more elite skills, and the first opportunities at a fair amount of green items. From Grenth's Footprint, you can enter Deldrimor War Camp, the first outpost in which the heros of Ascalon (Aidan, Mhenlo, Devonna, Eve, Cynn) are available as henchies. Grenth's is also the zone from which you access Sorrow's Furnace. Sorrow's Furnace is one of the two most challenging PvE areas in the Prophecies campaign (Ruins of the Tomb of Primeval Kings being the other), and a lot of really good green items drop there. It's great fun if you can laugh about the frequent occurance of death penalties.

Jebus, I got some catching up to do... :lowlol:
Looks like I may be on tonight if all goes well and we don't see any severe storms.

Heh. Not really. Once you do the Dragon's Lair mission (VERY fun!), you're about an hour away from Deldrimor War Camp.

I bet his trip goes worse for some WEIRD reason than Anoe's ever did. I'm sensing equipment trouble from all the storms through the passes sorta thing.
(Looks around) Which mission does Raveneye need to ascend again?
Edit to add: Bwahahha Erudite ;) On the "Areas" to here 'X'... hahahahha!

*sigh* Suppose I should try getting my slacker behind into the game more often so you folks can drag me into Ascended status as well.

Will you kick and scream to? We don't have to drag you you know. I actually do have fun just about anywhere and have little ones I've ignored. Dunno if it is like that for the others but I know ONE other one that's a more than one crit junkie. Just how I'm gonna catch her.... heh, I tried monking a little bit over in factions and wiped myself out asap. Plus got bored :(
My monk over on the Profs side though I was enjoying her.
