On the agenda for this evening, Dunes of Despair (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Dunes_of_Despair_%28Mission%29). Everybody has this locale unlocked, so let's meet there at 9pm EST. The mission itself is quick and pretty simple, and as long as at least one person stays back to help protect the Ghostly Hero there isn't any real danger in attempting the bonus. If everybody shows there will be a full PC group of six, which would be a first for the fledgling GW chapter of LoW. ;)

Time permitting, we'll do Elona Reach (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Elona_Reach_%28Mission%29) for Knemo, which should set both Knemo and Zyll up for Ascension. If we're really lucky, we may even be able to take a shot at the dragon, but I really doubt we'll have quite that much time this week.

Zyll and Knemo, you should read the Wiki's guide to defeating doppelganger (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Guide_to_defeating_doppelganger) if you haven't already. The doppelganger mission is very quick - you'll be done in five minutes one way or the other, so you both should be able to do that tonight as well.

Ascension mission elite skill caps are available in both missions if you don't already have them, so bring your signets.

Reading the wiki, they claim you can keep the Hero alive with a single monk - with the right skill set memmed. Not being that familiar with the class, I can't really say how that would go.

Hey guys! I haven't been able to log the past few days. Got new adds to the fam. (They soooo pretty, need to take pics) But I'll be on tonight. Everyone except atty has the last one?

Oh, and I need to trade in my wind lamps thingys. Was the dragon mask worth it? I didn't play in any of the games, plus it didn't look fun doing it all by myself. I had no idea why people were trying to sell prizes from the festival for like 2k but they were. Heard someone shout that 1k was worth it, 2k was a scam. Again, no idea why and at the time Wiki didn't have any info. Though it did have info on the festival already up and complete with what was dropping, etc., during the friggen festival. Seesh that's dang quick.

Dang missed killing Glint :( Oh well. Atty didnt' get home till 8:45ish due to having to go to work after this confrence, so we didn't get on last night since we still had to do dinner and such. Hopefully we'll be there next week.

It was dicey for a bit, mostly thanks to me somehow switching from elemental to physical and back to elemental damage without realizing it, inadvertantly HEALING Glint with each hit. DOH! :roll: :* :mad: Near as I can tell, I must have double clicked the hotbutton and swapped twice instead of once.

Despite my unintentional sabotage, we took her down. The strategy of elemental damage and interrupts for the first 50% and physical damage and the kitched sink for the second 50% worked. At one point she killed me, someone rezzed me, and I had 70hp. I cast my elite Necro "balance" spell and it sucked 400 hps from her and gave them to me (healing me to full). That is now my new favorite boss mob spell...

Heh, I popped that cap spell once, and scored a meager 17 HP with it I think. I felt kind of useless, holding that stupid egg in hand - thus preventing me from having my bow available with my two spell interrupts. Instead, I just stacked debuffs, she should have had -6 health and -2 mana pretty much constantly.

For future reference, you can drop the egg. Somebody needs to pick it up to trigger the bonus sequence, but it's irrelevant after that. ;)
