Not sure when I'll be on tonight. I have a family dinner thing, which I assume I can be home from before 9pm, but who knows. If it's 5 minutes after 9:00pm EST and I'm not on, start without me.

Guess the goal tonight would be to finish Atty's Ascension if he still needs it. If he's not on, then perhaps a trip to Phatlewtsville (aka Sorrow's Furnace) is in order?

He still needs it, just not sure if he or I will be on tonight, especially since the dog is gonna be a bit hyper since he didn't have daycamp today.

I'll be on around 9pm-ish EST. I'm up for anything, although I'd like to get Attriel's Ascenscion stuff finished up if he's able to be there.

Otherwise, Sorrow's Furnace sounds great. Onnie and I can fight about whether to go right or left first. It'll be grand. ;)

Logged on a few minutes before 9pm to find nobody else on yet. GravenStone joined in just a few minutes later and we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, at 9:20 we decided nobody else would be joining us.

So we grabbed some henchies and struck out for Sorrow's Furnace. Down the bottom of the hill just outside of Deldrimor War Camp, we managed to aggro three groups in rapid succession (Devonna was a bit quirky all night, and it wouldn't be the last time she chased something into aggro range of another group), but managed to polish them off fairly easily.

We hit boss area #1 on the way to the Furnace to be greeted by the ever-malevolant Flint Fleshcleaver and his band of merry Stone Summit compatriots, and he was kind enough to leave a present for Zyll...

It's the best hydromancer staff in the game. Destrid already has it, so Zyll will probably make a tidy profit selling it.

Just around the corner we found Morgriff Shadestone hanging out, so we set about taking him down as well. Lo and behold, he was also in a giving kind of mood and left Zyll another present...

A handy little necro focus item, great because it's effect works on all spells rather than just Blood Magic. I'm sure Zyll will put it to good use, and I'm glad we got a drop that was useful for him.

There was one more boss that we could see, the ranger in Grenth's Footprint, so we whacked him before hitting Sorrow's Furnace, but he became the first of the next seven bosses to be not quite so generous in his drops.

Once inside, we set about clearing the entry room and then headed left for the lower run. The first boss we encountered inside was a bit of a disappointment, although in an amusing sort of way. Gardock Soulstone, a monk boss, was waiting in the crusher room - except he wandered under a crusher and got...well, crushed. His pet Priest of Sorrow immediately set about resurrecting him, only to have him get crushed again. And again. Ah well.

We continued on through the lower run, getting two more bosses on the way, before we finally wound our way back around to the big room to the right of the entry hall. Onnie likes to take that room on from the start, but I prefer to sneak around and come in from the other direction. In either case, it's a tough room to break and we ended up doing some zerging (including the first of many hot rezzes - finding the same mobs in aggro range of our nearby rez platform). Significant death penalties by the time we'd finished the room, and the crusher death of Gardock earlier meant we'd only killed five Stone Summit bosses at this point, so the quest giver wouldn't give us our 6000xp reward for killing the sixth boss. We had to do a little backtracking to find Brohn Stoneheart and finally eliminate the DP.

Time was running short, though, so we didn't have time to make a go at the upper run, where one of the necro bosses usually hangs out. All in all, a pretty good night. Seoman finished up a skill point and got halfway through another one, while Zyll got some green drops and capped a new elite.

Sorry, I forgot about my son's swimming lesson, so we didn't even start the dinner thing until after 7:30pm. Didn't get home and settled until 9:30, and was too pooped to really do much concentrating online. Watched Blade episodes off Spike instead.

I'm hav'n a rough week. It all started Wed. last week and has gone down hill. I prolly won't be around Sunday. Stuff to pick up in Austin and I'm literally worn out. Feel like my Bones are crunching for some silly reason. Why I dunno except.. they actually are crunching in my shoulder where I hurt my arm. Heh

Had a good talk with Abs yesterday though! Well, I left that post for Thundy in the Tavern so you guys already know that. He's going to email me and I'm was thinking of trying to get him to play guild wars. You guys wouldn't mind if he joined our group would you?

I've been meaning to ask. Was also thinking might get Arch (you guys remember Lil'Archie?) I'm almost POSTIVE he's gotta still talk to Arch. But on Saturday if anyone is around I'll prolly have Guild Wars fired up. Thinking about leaving Xell just standing in the Guild Hall while I try to find Winter's Info for Thundy. The only option I have on finding Hutch is to get ICQ fired up. Which, yep, all the info is sitting on an old set so I gotta drag em out anyways.

Just let me know if you guys would/wouldn't mind. I don't even know if I can talk him into playing but, might be able to. Either that or the bastage will drag me into a strait playing game and then I'll be toast.
