Sorrow's Furnace was FUN last night. The Kilroy mission was a riot, with the little "Benny Hill effect" he casts where everyone moves at 3 times their normal speed. "Kiiiiillroooooy Stooooonekiiiiin!!!!" :smile:

Too bad we got hung up on the ore gathering mission, or we might have finished off all 5 for Krak. Ah well, at least we know what to do now so we can whip through them next time.

I got a TON of purple and gold items last night. Didn't have time to sort them out and sell/horde before bed, so I'll do that this weekend and keep anything that looks useful to people. With mobs dropping 100+ gp all over the place, and the abundance of magic items, Sorrow's Furnace seems a pretty profitable place to adventure.

If you go in without any of the quests, it's a very crowded place. Groups in close proximity to one another, lots of pathers that will aggro in mid-fight, a decent amount of healers that rez, stuff like that. There are seven or eight bosses inside, though, and they can all be capped and all drop green items from time to time. And there are several 6000xp quests that are entirely contained inside Sorrow's Furnace. Those wipe out even a 60% DP all by themselves.

I left my computer running this morning to try to get in. HEY! Why is everyone yelling mad at me and sending evil mad face vibes my way when you Eastern time people were having the same prob. And you guys have the first crack at patches.

Just knew it was gonna be Bash da Bixie Slayer for saying Yo let's do the first southern mission and stuff. BTW, yeah that stone KillLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL mission is a hoot. Oh Erudite guess what! With Xell maxed out on Mesmer stuff.. no pet. I've been running her with Just Chicky Warrior and two healers for Sorrow Hunting. It's slow, but do able. Even easier with Stone KillIEEEE. The place I run into trouble is the bridge double grops where the Ettians come out. Usually nice loot though. Got enough now to sink in for a Merchant at the Guild Hall. Think 27k banked, unless you guys want me to save or we chip for something else.

We can split the cost of a merchant if you want, Onnie. I've got 14k on Seoman, 8k on Destrid, and 5k banked. The 15k armor sure is purty, but no stat upgrades - seems like the merchant would be a little more functional.

For the most part, I don't buy keys anymore. My stuff is good enough that I'm not likely to find upgrades in chests. If it's not green, it's usually going to be very similar to what I already have (at best).

That actually saves a fair amount of coin.

Why, I dunno... it's the Pandora Never Built a Box that I can't Open thing in me I guess. ;)
