Well, I played some WoW last night - trying to make the most of a 10-day freebie.

My hunter now has a boar pet and seems to be making some progress. I also started a human warlock (the troll is just SO ugly) who has reached 7.

One moment of (presumably unintentional) hilarity. The female human model used for the warlock has some slightly odd mannerisms and can look quite coy/embarrassed at times. The imp pet, when standing still, looks as though he is panting in exhaustion with his back/shoulderblades going up and down like bellows. Anyway, I discovered that by clicking on a chair I could make my warlock sit down. The default pathing resulted in the imp standing in front of her ... with his head buried between her thighs. The combo of the demure young lady sitting on a chair, eyes darting embarrassedly from side to side, with the imp's face buried in her crotch and his lungs working like bellows just cracked me up.

OK, I've got a dirty mind.

Hrmm... Went to bed about 1230a, woke up about 430a... GAH... And I'm still aching... Getting older isn't fun, when it comes to aches and pain...

EQ2 is presently updating... Got worried when it said it needed 3hrs to update... WTH!? Think it only slowed down at that point in time 'cos of the AVG running at 5am. Says 30mins left, but we'll see...

DNP, but that's not unusual...

Ate at the Dodo's, wandered about the neighborhood. Headed to ACE hardware, only to see they didn't have the filter I needed for my lil' vac, thus placed an order for them. Best Buy sold the durn thing, but don't have filters. Grrrr... 'Cos of the sandblasting on the building, I've sand here and there on my hardwood floor... A LOT near the entryway (wet sand, tennis shoes). Even if I sweep it up, there's bound to be sand somewhere...

After that, swung back towards my apartment, waved at the folks at the Dodo and headed to Barista for some chocolate milk/croissants (ran out of the normal bread for PB&J?), reading for a bit. Kinda weird to just sit there, and read... Didn't really mean to, but was listening to the women there doing some baby talks, seen other customers come thru (many with Mac laptops). Yay, they plan to have soups again starting Oct, and hot cereal. After that, went to the art supply store, playing around with the oils and acrylic samples. I remember oils, when I was a kid. Still messy. Looked at the airbrush aisle, and even though I admire the folks who do it, it's not for me.

Spent the rest of the afternoon/evening in Borders reading a few magazines/books. Didn't really plan on being at Borders too long. Originally had planned on going downtown, to Old Navy, to get some new clothes for the coming fall/winter but as usual, I got sidetracked. Got a few books (none that I seen on eBay), then started the journey home about 8p. Only meal I had that day was breakfast, but oddly enough, I wasn't really that hungry - prob 'cos I'm distracted with other things. Stopped by subway to try the carne asada and the cajun steak, and trekked home.

Caught up on emails and forums, browsed the various sites... Only ate half of one of the sandwiches (the other I planned for morning eating, or afternoon) and the soup...

Vacation is nice, but I never really save... /sigh. At least I don't have to rush about on my days off though. I always wonder though, how I would spend my days if I didn't have to worry about bills or work.

Bit of a crazy day yesterday. I got back from vacation on Sunday so it was my first day back at work which was crazy enough. Then yesterday evening I was sworn in as an Auxiliary Constable for the Toronto Police Service! Was very exciting but when all was said and done it was an exhausting day!

I logged in to EQ2 and quickly started falling asleep so I logged off after picking up my auction cash. I decided to play 10 minutes or so of lego star wars 2 (which I just picked up for the xbox 360) and I was pretty impressed.

DNP. I got a good run in after work. Traffic home was a nightmare. By the time I ate dinner I was too tired to think about playing.

A friend of the family died this weekend, and I found out last night that the viewing is tonight. So I won't get to play tonight either. The funeral is tomorrow afternoon so I should get to play tomorrow night (unless the family needs me).

Finally got to play again. Got Calliandra and Kaerik both to level 14, and started a gnome mage and got him to level 4. Watched Prison Break, Vanished, Studio 60, Two and a Half Men, and How I Met Your Mother as well.

Last night, I watched Monday Night Football for a bit. At the last minute, I decided to play Charity and see if I could get into Zul Farak. I can sum up my night as one of those really bad pick-up group nights.

Just as Charity had finished putting some stuff in the AH to sell, she sees that someone was looking for a priest to finish off their group. I missed that group by seconds, they were all full when I asked to join. Instead, me and a level 49 Hunter, started another group. It took a while to get some people. We ended up with another priest, a paladin and a druid to add to our group. It took a long time to get the group together because the paladin had a long travel time to get to ZF. So, once we really get rolling, I think I had just blown 30 minutes. We begin, a runner gets away, I call RUN, and that kills off the entire group, they didn't RUN. I go back in and rez, and rebuff. Luckily it was in the very beginning. We start again. This time it was going pretty well. But then we get to the next big area, no one goes for the caster. He's healing himself and his buddies pretty well. I start trying to nuke him because he is making life hard, and no one was losing much health except for me. :D Well, in the middle of the fight, I get disconnected. I come back, and find myself dead. I was the only one to die. I get rezzed and the next thing I know the priest is jumping down my throat about having to heal. Well, what I was finding was that he was healing every time the other's health dipped a little. So, instead of letting me handle it, he wanted to heal rather than nuke. *sigh* That then led me to believe that everyone was doing pretty well. He starts wanting the stats on healing and damage to prove his point. I start to defend myself, by telling him, if he's going to nuke, then do it first, not to start healing first, and it breaks down to an argument, so I stop after the Pally mentions not to argue. So, we go on further, this time, I don't nuke at all. The other priest still is healing at every little dip in hps. I'm healing over time as much as possible. Things go pretty well until we get to the next big area. This time someone aggros more mobs onto us. From the healing that I had to do on the other priest I would guess that it was him. We get a TPW. Now the pally wants to point the finger at the person who aggroed the adds. I don't say nothing. The pally leaves. That pretty much kills the group and my time left to play. Then the other priest starts in again with the stats. I say good night, and leave.

Then it took me 2 more hours before I felt like going to bed. I play Spiderman 2 for the rest of the evening.

That was my fun! :evileye:

DNP.

Watched Prison Break and Vansihed, then taped Studio 60 while watching some MNF. I like Studio 60, it's very funny, but it's not worth watching with commercials.

Dunno what's up tonight, but I have a bunch of schoolwork due tomorrow night that I haven't really touched. *Sigh*

Played Psychonauts and started a PBeM game of Civ4 w/ Car.

Watched CSI, Heroes and Studio 60. BTW, are we supposed to be confused as to what the hot blonde's super power is or am I just dumb?

DNP. Cleaned up the living room and put away pieces-parts from old computer that weren't put away. Took the new computer into room. Decided desk was too messy. Cleaned up desk. Decided overflowing shelves were too messy. Cleaned up shelves, reshelved books & software boxes. Took couple boxes down into basement. Relaxed with a little light reading before bed.

Her reflection is apparently some kind of alter-ego that can come to life and act independantly. It's very vaugue so far though, most likely intentionally as it'll be explored in a later episode. Gotta love a show with a cheerleader AND a stripper both as main characters though. :lowlol:

I missed the episode last night, and have read elsewhere that it was cut down from the nearly hour long pre-release pilot I saw. All the important stuff remained though, but I understand the editing was choppier, making some of the stories harder to follow.

I can't believe the cheerleader is the same girl who played Coach Yoast's daughter in Remember the Titans. My, how she's grown. Mmmm.

Shoot, I will! Chari's succubus likes to spank herself. She also whips her opponents and charms them too while looking at her nails.

Hectic night but I did play WoW for a short time. Finished up a quest, missing diplomat I think, it was red and I was able to solo it so lot's of exp.

Watched Wife Swap last night, not a normal show for me so back off, but they had a gamer family on. Portrayed the father and son as only interacting while playing computer games. I'm not sure how real it was but it kept my interest while I cleaned. I forgot about Hero's last night, I would have rather watched that.

Multitasked with the radio also on so I could hear the Twins take their place in the playoffs - thank you Chicago.

Two of the four have dance tonight so it will be another short playing session if at all tonight.

Technically you should really be thanking Cleveland for drubbing the White Sox last night.

You can watch it again tonight on NBC or anytime today on the NBC website. I just watched it off the website at lunch, they cut out a few bits from the preview I saw a couple months back, reordered a couple scenes, and extended the last scene about 10 seconds, but nothing that makes or breaks the show.
