yet my mind knows that it's not difficult...

and my brother tells me it's totally illogical, as plugging in a stereo system is *MUCH* easier than building a computer. Everyone of those connectors are colored and labeled.

:tongue: The human being is a funny animal, yah? So what makes you react that way? Are you hardware support type person that makes his/her son program the VCR? Or maybe your VCR blinks 12:00 perpetually? :tongue:

Ha! That looks like one of my Pioneer receivers! That's sitting and collecting dust...

/ponders, thinking of something.

As for the VCR... I leave it blinking... And let it reset it self from the Cable, if it can read the signal... /sigh.

Yeah, but when you plug in the stereo its already in a rack and all the connectors are facing away from you in a dark little crack between the back of the hi-fi stand and the wall, so you can't see the colours and you have to do it all by feel and you need double jointed fingers.

Not intellectually difficult, but it can be physically challenging.
