Oooooh! This I wanna see... :D
More publicity for WoW... At least it wasn't L2 or EQ2... Or CoH/CoV...
I wonder what RvB thinks...

Well, it couldn't be worse than it was on SG1, with Carter distracting the scientist by pretending to be a WoW player while Rodney stole computer files.

I'll have to try and remember to watch. I have only seen about 5 minutes of one episode and found it completely not funny. But that must just be me.

I thoroughly enjoyed most of the first series, then lost interest. There are some hilarious things and some genuinely unfunny episodes. You might have been unlucky - it is worth giving it another chance.

I find I enjoyed South Park a great deal more before they decided to make a socio-political statement in every episode. They seem to go out of their way to exaggerate things, and often it ends up not being funny (IMO). I still watch the show and laugh at it, just not as much as I used to. The rare episode now that isn't making some kind of statement is usually much funnier. I kind of miss the random stuff they put into the episodes in the first couple of seasons.

Awesome episode!! The fact that they got WoW characters in the show is fantastic. Best licensing deal ever. The human yelling "Timmy!" should be a new in game /joke. :D
Butters: "... I'm playing Hello, Kitty Online Adventure."
Cartman: "Butters... go buy World of Warcraft, install it on your computer, and join the online sensation before we all murder you."

I thought it was so-so. But I did laugh when the developers stated that they didn't have their own accounts. And I really would have liked to have the hammer that Cartman was using when I was playing.

I liked when the Blizzard guys came to the house, and they told the wife that her son's character was going to die. Just like my wife would've answered, "So!". And their reaction was the best!
I liked the way they used the background music from the game in the show. Like the music for the Sword of a 1000 Truths. I think it's the same one from the Cathedral in Stormwind. :lowlol:
Oh, and I liked the way they would say, "This could be the end of the WORLD... Of Warcraft"
I really liked it. I laughed through the entire thing. :D

TiVo cut it off before it ended tho.
I wanan know how they got the WoW toons to do stuff like cradle the dad's toon. That was great.

The question most asked to me today at my office was "Did you see the South Park episode last night?"
I suppose it doesn't help that I'm known as "the gamer" in the little office I work at, but I work with a bunch of people who have never even played a computer game before or even knew what "World of Warcraft" was. Yes folks, there are people out there like that!
The general consensus though is that episode was extremely funny, not only to us WoW geeks, but to the general populace as well that have never even seen the game before.
If you happened to miss last night's episode, never fear! Comedy Central will run it again at these times:
10:00 PM - Thursday
12:30 AM - Friday
12:00 AM - Saturday
11:00 PM - Sunday
2:00 AM - Monday
If you don't catch it on those time slots it will be available to buy and download on iTunes for $1.99 on Monday.

It's been on at least twice more. Comedy Central usually replays episodes at 8:30 or 9:00 (central) on various weeknights. I saw an ad last night, so I imagine it'll be on again.
