Ok... so maybe I'm a meanie for starting this topic here. O'ell...
Me? My 'indulgence' of choice is Pepperidge Farms Milano cookies. Preferably the Double Chocolate or the Orange Chocolate flavors. I luurrvve them. I am good enough to just eat one or two though.
Weakness? Pasta... Takes definite restraint not to completely overdo it. Especially with plain ol' spaghetti.

Cheese in general. Preferrably with a burger or pizza underneath it. :)

Oh! YUM!!!
I also love pizza but, with developing food allergies to chocolate and tomatoes in recent years, I don't tend to indulge all that often (unless we go to Pizza Inn - there's something about their thin crust plain cheese pizza - I can easily eat the whole thing!! Needless to say, we don't go near there very often :P )
Currently, my salty indulgence of choice is havarti cheese on crackers with a glass of wine (gee, I seem to remember saying that before :D ). And, on the sweet side, cheesecake!!!!

Indulgences: There are two dessert items my mom makes occasionally that I cannot refuse... multiple trials of, that is. :)
Pudding Cake - Think it's really called chocolate graham eclair, or something. Here's the deal, from bottom to top:
layer of graham crackers
thick layer (maybe 1") of a vanilla pudding mix that include vanilla pudding (shocker! ;)) and Cool Whip and maybe one or two other ingredients
layer of graham crackers
layer of the vanilla pudding mix (~1" again)
layer of graham crackers
a chocolate icing like mix, but it's not really icing. Had its own recipe to make the icing.
This is by far one of my two biggest indulgences, especially since it's a real treat when she makes it AND I get to have some. :)
Cream Cheese Cookies (Again, they have a different name, not sure what... Heh, I'm not the cook. :)) These are awesome. My mom usually makes this type of cookie at Christmas time (in shapes of Christmas trees, stars, and the bloom of the Poinsettia. (She has cookie cutters for all, btw.)).
Weakness: Lasagna is probably the main one, followed by Mello Yellow soft drink and homemade ice cream. Man, I can't get enough homemade icecream, tho' the more I get usually, the more pain I get from the coldness. :) If you've never had homemade icecream, btw, you really need to try it. Target, Walmart, and many other similar stores sell the ice cream makers, for $20-40, depending on size. Actually making the ice cream is expensive enough that it won't be a common occurrence. (My family, for instance, makes homemade ice cream at most twice a year, usually around my mom's and for my dad's birthdays, respectively (June and July).) But most of that expense comes from things like the vanilla extract and whatever types of preservatives or other fillings you want to add. My parents and I have only ever made vanilla or french vanilla, but my aunt ... My aunt has made peach, chocolate, chocolate fudge, some sort of rocky road mixture, and a couple others. She's gotten really creative with it over the years. If interested I will post the recipes she's used so you can try some different things with this stuff...
Heh, tho' I'll likely post them in a thread titled Stay Away... Or maybe will put it in a different forum, to help protect the "good" ones of you. Hope to be joining the ranks shortly, need to get back into the grind... Which leads me to...

Go ahead and post it here. There are usually a number of ways to reduce the calories and fat in a recipe while maintaining the taste. (Egg beaters instead of eggs, skim milk, "volume" sweetner instead of sugar and sugar-free pudding mixes instead of regular.)

A word of warning, never try and make a cheese ball with fat free cream cheese! It becomes a dip! :D

I've found that using a Sucralose based sweetener (Splenda) instead of sugar can be very successful. It has the same volume and sweetness as sugar and does not degrade or become bitter when cooked. The only drawback is it cannot be browned or caramelised like real sugar.
There is one problem, however, if you use UK style recipes. These always give ingredients by weight rather than volume so you need first to figure out how much volume 8 oz of sugar occupies!
PS: For the health paranoid, there is some evidence from rats that large doses of sucralose can have a bad effect. Unfortunately, this seems to be true of just about every artificial sweetener on the market and sucralose is admitted to be significantly less of a risk than, say, aspertine.

Not a problem, just remember to count that as an 'activity' in the daily thread.

Women!
Oh, you mean food weaknesses....
Well, I'm not allowed to eat ice cream, cheese, or cheesecake anymore (dairy sets off my ulcerative collitus, not a pretty disease in the least) so I can remove those from the list. I'm a big fan of chocolate though, especially dark chocolate, so if someone has little Hershey's Miniatures laying around I will devour them. Luckily that's not a common occurance. I also cannot resist Peppermint Patties.
My big weakness is chocolate chip cookies. There is nothing I love more than a big plate of fresh, hot and soft Tollhouse cookies right from the oven unless maybe it's a plate of fresh, hot and soft Tollhouse cookies brought to me by a fresh, hot and soft scantily clad woman.....excuse me, I need to be alone with my thoughts right now.

Mmmmmmm....PIZZA ....***drool*** hot , cold, meat, veggie I don't care, Love pizza.
My other favorite is homemade bacon and egg sandwiches...LOL, it was a staple in my home when I was a kid. Mom could easily whip them up for dinner after a hard day at work so they became one of my favorite comfort foods

Oh man! They are great aren't they. What condiment went on the bread? Ketchup or Mayo? And did you add a slice of cheese?

I got into the habit of eating egg&bacon rolls while working on a construction site. I rarely eat them now as they do not taste the same without the diesel-oil fingerprints (the site cafeteria cook doubled up as the plant repair engineer and was NEVER observed to wash his hands .... or any other part of his anatomy).

LOL....it was mayo and ketchup.....oh and it is definitely a stroke looking for a place to happen, these days those sandwiches are a very rare treat instead of a staple in my diet.
Oh and no cheese, my folks would line up bread in two rows on the counter....working together as a team....one would mayo and ketchup while the other one cooked the eggs and bacon....lol, this was also the meal of choice as we ran out the door on Saturday mornings headed for the lake with the boat for a day of skiing...great fun those memories !!
