I work on Sun and my weekend is Mon-Tue so I can do this, tbbbbbbbb. Also my life is not exciting enough to hog it own thread currently so starting a "Daily".
Well, to bring you all upto speed. April and I went to Alamosa last weekend to visit a number of peeps there (One of her friends, her Father and Step Mom, my cousin, and the pasture that will be doing the wedding.) It was a good couple of days. The pasture will be doing the wedding for free (he likes doing weddings), and if we want to donate to his church that is all he will accept (just about floored me when I heard this).
Found out that my cousin was a freshman in the same high school as April when she was a seinor. small world.
On the home front, Mike (the renter) has moved into Beas old room and we are waiting for him to clean the trach out of his old room to make that into a cosy guest room (useing April's old bed.) The rooms are getting painted useing collors called Harvist Spice (a brownish orange), and twig green (a light green).
As soon as that is done we will be redoing the main area of the basement, converting it into a game room of sorts.
Another project I have on my plate no that we also got Lacy's (April's dog) kennel back (think a portable cage) is to make a doghouse out of Lego. Of course the first step will be to figure out the number and type of bricks needed.

Friday: Out for a ride, about 30 miles, 2 hours worth. Mowed the lawn in the evening, and we went out to Chinese buffet for dinner. Its a good place, too; my parents are a bit finicky on Chinese food now, having recently spent 5 years in China, just north of Hong Kong. Stayed up way too late watching live qualifying for the Formula One race at Suzuka, Japan.
Saturday: Up early to get out for a ride with the bike club. It was... an eventful morning. Here's my rambling on my cycling forums about my Saturday ride adventure. (http://www.bentrideronline.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=23045)
Sat. night we stayed up late again, watching the Formula One race.
Sunday: Out for yet another ride, an easy one with my dad this morning. Cleaning up the place this afternoon, especially the garage.

Friday - stayed home sick. Played WoW for a bit, then left for school. Watched Battlestar Galactica after school.
Saturday - School all day, then drove back from Lincoln. Played Calliandra for a bit. Spent time in Warsong Gulch, but the Horde side was a such a mess of twinks that it was all but impossible to compete. Somehow I managed to get three kills.
Sunday - Went to the Departed in the afternoon. Great movie (even Leo impressed me). Came home and played Calli for a bit. Dinged 20. Logged and spent a couple of hours taking my online final. Got 100% on it, so I'm pretty happy. Logged in and got Wilkin to 13, then decided to take a break. Watched Desperate Housewives and Dexter.

Fri - DNP. Icky grey day with kids fighting & screaming. Called mom & let the kids talk to gramma.
Sat - Glorious day! Sunny but cool. Played their little legs off and popped them in bed early. Played a little DDO.
Sun - Another icky grey day. Dying for adult conversation. Called mom again. Let the kids watch as I played DDO. 4 1/2 going on 14 likes to watch the rescue quests. She is awful annoying so I will do everything she wants until she gets frustrated enough to shut up and let me play.
"I think we need more power." Power & Mana bars are full.
"Okay! We'll go back to the tavern!"
I then leave the room to do something like pick-up some of the kiddie mess.
"Call me when you think we have enough power."
"I think we're going the wrong way."
"Okay."
*turns back to the tavern*
"That's the tavern!"
"You said I was going the wrong way, didn't you?"
*Head up towards the gates*
"I think that's the wrong door."
"Okay."
*turns back and run back down and towards the tavern*
"But that's the tavern!"
"Didn't you say that was the wrong door?"
"I think we need more magic water."
"Okay. I'll go buy some."
*Halfway there...*
"We have to rescue the girl!"
"Okay."
*Turns around*
"But we need the magic water."
"Okay. I'll go buy some."
*Turns around*
"Shriek! We have to rescue the girl!"
"Okay."
*turns around again*
"You didn't get the magic water!"
"Didn't you tell me we had to go rescue the girl?"
*cry*
Nephew: "I tell you! Let Auntie Carol buy the magic water first, THEN we'll go rescue the girl. She knows the way!"
Smart kid, my nephew.

Poor girl can't make up her mind eh? Ummm...er...
Can't quite remember Friday... Went shopping for some magazines and books (three Nora Robert books) and picked up X3. Think I played (online) games, but can't quite recall which ones... But the moon that evening... WOW! *VERY* bright!!! Harvest Moon... 12-13pct brighter luminance? Pretty! Too bad my camera isn't that good for taking pics. :(
Saturday, went to a different eatery place. "Fan Si Pan" ... Not quite sure what it is really. Tried their "French Fried Green Beans" which is basically a green bean done tempura style. Their beef noodle soup wasn't that bad (but I should have ordered a small instead of a large ... maybe I didn't like it too much 'cos there was no salt?). The honeydew lemonade drink was really good. Lots of wasabi sauce was slathered on the green beans, thus the drink was gone pretty fast (I sauced the beans). Gonna have to try the beans again. Their large isn't large enough!
Sat evening, was the The Dorothy Jemison Foundation for Excellenceevent (ten of us, representing the Company went - two from sales, 4 from the local chicago office, rest were flight crews/pilots from CO/COEX). /mutters about dressing up. I've been to Navy Pier many times, but never been in the Ball Room area before. It was VERY nice. Meeting, or rather seeing many of the guests wasn't bad. Seeing the women being honoured was great (and some of the stories). Dr Mae Jemison and the two other female astronauts, that was fun to see and listen to (and one of them was pretty buffed up... looking very nice, oh and the dress too...) Nikki Giovanni was hilarous during her presentation. Nichelle Nichols (Lt Uhura to those who wonder) was great as well (she did the voice over on part of the video presentation segments). For The Voice of the Federation, she's small! Well, shorter than me... Overall, it was a nice night. It was the first time for the Foundation's event, thus time was a bit off on a few things... Left about a half hour before midnight I think when they were starting up the "donation/passing the basket" ... I don't have to donate I think??... Company is one of the sponsors... If they plan to do it again next year, I wanna go again - even though I'm not a woman. :D The champagne tasted odd and the merlot was ok (more for burgundy myself)... I have some pics that I hope come out okay, will check the photos later on, when I find my card readers. I have to say though, I learned more than what I thought that evening...
Needless to say, no gaming that evening. Did play a little before I went though, working on the Mage... But I really should concentrate on the Warlock... Can't wait for the Blood Elf mage... /twitch
Sun... Ugh, could have slept in. Then again I was probably better off than the two saleswomen who had to go back to IAH (0550 flt!), or the other three ORD staffers who had to go back to work in the AM. :lowlol: Saw Dr Jemison again later that evening, and one of the other Honourees. Won 50USD in the Football pool thingy. My lil' square was the winning score (whatever it was, the Bears against ??). First time I tried that... Maybe I'll try again, and see what happens... And I still don't understand the pool game...
After work, browsed forums and news sites. Poked about with some Artists Oils... Popped into WoW, edging the mage closer to 26. Pulled the Warlock out, and went about with Charity. One area (for the Ancient Egg - Hinterlands?) is a wee bit rough for us... The other area we trekked to was Azshara... We both finished up two quests, and started work on Charity's other quest there (Courser's Scent Glands). Camped after the turn in on those...
Reading Morrigan's Cross (First of the Circle Trilogy) which is pretty good. I like it. A mix of fantasy (Celtic magic) with the modern (modern day witch and others)... The second book is waiting to be read as soon as I finish this one up (prob in a day or two, depending on commute times). Then the long wait for the conclusion. ARGH! But hopefully there'll be a new Dallas Eve book. Got the lil' novella one (where Eve goes to Space for some ILE - Interplanetary Law Enforcement conference), but that didnt last long in reading either... :* I need to slow down...
Hrmm... X3 is still shrink wrapped... One day...

Played WoW some. The warlock is now 21.5 and half way through the succubus quest. Need to decide if I am going to continue to play.
Got a callout at 5am on saturday. I couldn't understand why because I had documented the recovery procedure from this particular situation. Turns out that some humourless nerd had objected to the H2G2 references in the documentation and had managed to edit out most of the significant information in the process of removing them. Lucky for him he doesn't work here any more.
Finished watching Carnivale. I am truely p****d that the series was canned. Also watched the original "Little Shop of Horrors" (the non-musical version). They don't make films like that any more, thank <deity-of-choice>.

The good: Went to Sparrowhawk's parent's 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. Twas a lot of fun. Sparrowhawk's wife did a great job of organizing and planning everything.
The bad: I was pulled over by the local police on my way home. It seems that my brother has earned himself another DWI and there's an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. I'm apparently in the database as an "aka", so I'm guessing he's giving out my name. I hope he didn't somehow obtain a drivers licence with my name.
I'm going to try to go in and talk to the police today to see if there's anything I can do to prevent this in the future and/or help them find my brother.

Eeeeew! That is NOT a good thing at all... :( Hopefully it's just the law enforcement database and not the DMV or credit as well... (does credit link into the law/dmv at times too?)
Out of curiosity, how'd you convince them that you weren't your brother? Visual check on the database?
Good luck Drak! Hope things get straightened out and your brother gets help.

Friday: Helped Sagar in Zul Farak. We picked up two people. It went pretty well. I died again. I seem to be on a roll. :D We got through it ok, but Sagar was still in need of an item. The one guy who ended up being our MT, said that it was picked up already. I didn't see the mob or the item, so I'm not sure what happened.
Saturday: DNP. Went out to the Renn Fest with 3 out of 4 kids. We had a good time. They were all happy campers at the end of the day. Thankfully, the rain held out once we got there. And we got to see lots of shows. The food was great. Tried Mead for the first time. Yum! Picked up a belt and pouch for my outfit. I didn't get dressed in garb because I didn't have anything for the cold weather. Studied during the night for the bible study class.
Sunday: Church, cut grass, cooked dinner, went to bible study, headed home. Played at night with Sumire again. We went out to the Hinterlands and found out that we needed more people. Then we went out to Azshara, found 2 new quests, and completed one quest that I had from last week, now on the next leg of that quest. Went to bed at that point.

Friday: Played a bunch of Guitar Hero and Civ4. Joy went to happy hour w/ coworkers so I played more.
Saturday: College football, Guitar Hero, Civ 4. Joy went to a Filipino comedian w/ her Filipino girl friends and then they went out dancing and didn't get home until 3am so one of my little brothers came over and we watched football and played Guitar Hero until 2am or so.
Sunday: Watched the Skins play like crap. Watched the Cowboys/Eagles game. Unfortunately, someone won. Played Civ4 and Guitar Hero. Watched a bunch of TiVo'ed shows.

Did fall planting. My Dad sends us 100 daffodils every year. It was easy this year since we decided to clump them all in one place so I just had to dig a 12' long X 10" wide X 7" deep trench, place the bulbs and cover.
Netflixed Brick which I liked a lot. Watched a bunch of football. My concerns about the Eagles' WR corps was for naught thanks to a new rookie who came out of nowhere. While I lost my FFL game in the LoW league, I remain the sole undefeated team in my office league even though I benched McNabb (30pts) for Brees (15pts) this week.

Friday: DNP - did very little since we knew we had a full day at Faire.
Saturday: Faire in the rain! What a great day to play in the mud! Had a fun time with Dan, Sarah, Kieth, Lycos and 3 of the 4 lycoslings, and then had fun hanging out at the White Hart Tavern with the hard-core festers. It was *cold* by the end of the evening. Got home and took a hot bath to warm these old bones. :)
Sunday: Watched a lot of Stargate Season 1 and did very little otherwise. Had a scratchy throat (gee wonder what from?) and decided not to play DDO at the last minute cause I was fatigued. The most I did yesterday was mow the front lawn.
Bells tonight. Blegh.

Friday played lots of EQ2 think I got Mos to level 49, played in Cazic I believe twice.
Saturday went to RenFest for awhile, went to the Robinhood show where there weren't enough kids wanting to participate so some adults got to play to. In fact Greebo and Atty got to join in, Greebo was Robinhood, atty was Maid Marian, they make such a cute couple. The proposal of marriage and wedding was quite enjoyable. Left Renfest early because the cold and wet was getting to me. Logged into EQ2 and got into a Permafrost group enjyed seeing the zone for the first time, then got powerleveled by Taas, Boosie, Nez and Kaien, seriously we went into dungeons where I couldn't hit the mobs and they killed things, it worked though I felt a wee bit useless. Did get 50 in Perma though and 40% through or so with them.
Sunday did various errands in the afternoon, got paint for K's room, got atty a hat and bag and such, got groceries for the week. Logged into EQ2 for a bit but decided I wasn't in the mood to play right then so just surfed the web and such. Was getting ready for DDO when I found it had been mostly cancelled so logged into EQ2. Did a bit of tradeskilling but wasn't really in the mood so opened my second account so I could play Dysis, ran Dysis through splitpaw and such and made it to the bottom. Then ran through the solo arena for a bit. Logged into Mos and worked my way through the upper tunnels with Mos, died a lot (unlike Dysis who didn't die) probably because it was a bit late so I was playing sloppier. Got okay exp for Mos though so it wasn't too bad. Then I went through my character's on Mos's account to see if I wanted to delete anyone, decided I didn't so today I get to go through the ones on Dysis' account, probably will end up deleting one or two of them, though 3 of my main alts are there so won't delete those. Logged and headed to bed.

The wife and younger son went to Gatlinburg for the long weekend (he was off school Friday) and my older son had to work (so he didn't come over) so it was just me and my almost 3-year-old daughter all weekend. We had lots of fun.
Friday we picked up McDonalds for dinner and watched "Scooby Doo : Pirates Ahoy!" on Cartoon Network. She loves Scooby. I recorded it so she could watch it over and over. (and over) After she was off to bed I spent some time playing Dungeon Siege II and reading a book.
Saturday we went to the zoo in the morning. She loved it. I discovered that the zoo is quite the happening spot. Cute moms with kids were everywhere, and oddly very few dads were in attendence. Being a solo dad with small daughter, we got a lot of attention from said cute moms. Filed this away for future reference. In the afternoon she helped me clean up the house and in the evening we went out to dinner with grandma (my mom). Watched "Vanished" and BSG off tape after she was in bed, was too tired to get online and play.
Sunday we ran some errands and played a lot of "house", "store" and "restaurant" once we got home. She was perfectly happy to let me watch football while we played. My wife and son got home in time for dinner, and we all had a quiet night after that. Watched "Amazing Race" and put a few more items up for sale on Ebay before bed.

Didn't look, as I don't care. Lest you forget, I am an incorrigable scoundrel.
It's just too easy. I pretend to struggle a bit with our lunch and the stroller and suddenly there's an attractive woman at my side asking "Do you need some help? Are you here by yourself? I know how hard it is to try and manage a stroller and carry stuff yourself, I have a two year old myself. Let me help you find a table." :lowcool: I also got a lot of "Oh she is so cute, and she's got such beautiful eyes. No mistaking she's your daughter!"
Now I just need to teach her when to say "Will you be my new mommy?" on a silent cue.

Well, I met with the local police this morning. The officer was very helpful and very understanding, and even gave me some additional information and direction. This was by far the best experience I've ever had with an officer - not that I've had many - but the guy was really doing his job and then some. I was very impressed.
Seems my brother does have a valid licence, he's just using my name and date of birth. I called the St. Paul police and gave them his information and asked them to go pick him up. They were less than helpful and didn't want to bother because it's "just a gross misdemeanor", but I insisted. We'll see what happens.
Now I get to call the police department in Southern Minnesota where the arrest was made and let them know where he is. Yay.

Drason continued his adventure all weekend in the battlefields to push him closer to getting the Knight title. With the nearly 1100 status this past week he should reach this goal but we will have to see on Wednesday. After getting this amount of honor I finally dinged him to the BIG FIVE ZERO lvl 50 and now he can join the lvl 50 group in AB battlefield. Hopefully the lvl 50 group knows how to play in the battlefield. I have also got Straden my Rogue involved in the battlefields in AB. It is really fun hiding in the brush and being the assassin and sneeking up on the horde and taking them out. Planning on playing tonight.

Haha! No, nothing of the sort. I actually told her all about our adventure at the zoo, and she was fine with it. She's not the jealous type. I'm sure she's content in the knowledge that once most women find out about my computer gaming habit and other geek obsessions (Sci-Fi TV, fantasy novels, LotR, etc.) they'll run screaming from the room. :lowlol:

I too went to a 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday night for my wife's parents. For those who don't know, Sparrowhawk is my brother in-law. It was fun.
Things were going well until it was announced that kids,3 and older, could go for a limo ride. Took two of mine to the car and volunteered to be the chaperone. Total of 5 kids 5-9 and me, it was fun listening to them all but the ride never ended. The driver just kept going, and going. I'm pretty sure I saw him pull out a map so I think that he got lost. Made it back to the restaurant and daddy needed a drink. The kids were actually very good but I missed the champagne toast.
Played WoW each night and found a new hunting ground more my level so I am finally advancing.

Fri: I went up to my son's school and read Drat That Fat Cat! (http://arthuralevinebooks.com/book.asp?bookid=9) to his class. They loved the book. After I read the book, I handed out a drawing that Rubi was gracious enough to draw for me. The kids drew the various things that the cat ate. It was a big hit! Later on, Nina had her best friend spend the night, I took them out to the Festival that was being held at one of the neighboring cities. Got home very late, I went to sleep but i dont think the kids went to bed. LOL
Sat: Ran various errands, then dropped Celina off at her friends house, it was her turn to spend the night. It was me and little man. We went up to the Festival again.
Sun: It was housecleaning day. Didnt do much. Celina did log in WoW and played her lil pally.
I dont think I managed to play WoW at all this weekend. :( I hope I may play later.
