I tried an experiment this morning. After the cat woke me up at 5:15 to be let out, I just didn't go back to sleep. It seems, for me at least, that getting out of bed is the hard part. Since I'm up because of the cat anyway, staying up wasn't too hard. I'm going to try this for a few days to see if being a morning person is doable for me.

And it got me wondering what time everyone else got out of bed. And I mean getting out of bed. If you hit snooze for 45 minutes, it doesn't count until you're up.

I get out of bed at 7am, but I usually wake up due to the damn light coming in our huge window at 6am.

Hey,

Rarely out of bed before 10 am, but then I'm also usually up until about 2:30.

That, of course, will change should I ever get a freakin' job.

Three days a week I am up at quarter till five. The other two days I am up around 6:30.

I tend to get oob a few mins before Greebo leaves for work, for if I don't, Cleo climbs on the bed and inches her way to my face where she then licks my breath and whines for me to go feed her.

I enjoy being a morning person but my internal clock is not fully geared that way.

0500, except for 0300 today since I had to come in early in order to leave early for a dentist's appointment. Major change, being up 60-90 minutes before I have to leave for work. When I worked nights, I normally got up3 1/2 - 4 hours early. Of course, that meant I also went down sooner after getting home than I currently do. Still doesn't change my glowering resentment at that damned luminous orb which keeps things to freaking bright in the daytime.

For work, I'm up around 6:30 - 6:45. But if it were up to me, I'd be up no later than 9 AM every day.

4:30am four days a week. During the school year, 6:30am on Wednesdays. During the summer and breaks, whenever the first kid wakes up - usually 8:00am or so.

My sleep is totally fubar'd.

Generally I go to bed at 1-1:30am and get up at 7:45am. My body seems to do fine with 6-7 hrs per night. Lately it's getting rudely interrupted (back, cats) so it's more like 10pm-2am, up for 2hrs, back to bed for 4 more. Might have to dip into my Amitriptyaline.

6 AM. Every morning except the weekend. My internal clock can tell the difference.

(Of course, there's the fact that that's when the sun comes up and it shines right in my face, so it's either get up or hide under the covers.)

My alarm is set for 6am, however, for the last week+, i have been waking up sporadically anytime after 4:30am. Even my cats give me the WTF look!

I've been trying to wake up when the cat gets me up. Usually around 5:30. Today she got up at 4:30 and demanded out. Found out why later. She didn't want to be around when I found her mess in the kitchen...

Mine has been waking me up before 5 every day for the last couple of months, culminating in a pre-4am wake up yesterday.
Today he left me alone. It was also the first day in ages I'd forgotten to set the alarm. Cumulative sleep deprivation resulted in me being late for work ...

I am so not a morning person. I spent 4 years at a job that required me to get up at 4:30 and I never got used to it. Now I get to bed about 2 and am up about 8.

I get my 8 hours and I'll be up.
